The glass is filling up

Abby here. Just and update, Ellie is now 14 pounds 2 ounces is getting 9 mls an hour. That works out to about 2 cups of milk mixed with a bit of formula each day. Nothing close to where she should be but, hey babysteps are still steps. She seems to be doing well with the slow increases in food and her infection should be just about gone.

Tomorrow I can get a stool sample to see how we are doing. Yes, I have to collect a stool sample from my daughter, odd after the years of collecting them so many different animals. Who would have known that all just practice for Ellie. We need to have 3 negative samples before she is cleared for C-Dif. She is also getting her 6 month shots tonight. I can't believe that it has been 6 months.

9 mls is great. Just think that before she could only tolerate 2-3, so Ellie is definitely going in the right direction. One doctor told us "slow and steady wins the race". Keep racing Ellie, you're going to do it.
