Morale Booster

With all of the lousy news that we have dealt with this summer and in the past few weeks, someone asked us the other day how we get through the long process of getting Ellie well again?

To this I offer exhibit A, Ellie's first day of preschool:

She is, quite simply, a glorious kid.

That goes a long way to offset the malfunctioning gut.

Oh. My. God. Did I need that today. Thank you so much. I can't tell which of you three enjoyed this more!

Wow, she has gotten so BIG! Glad to see a happy girl. I know how hard it can be to describe the good along with the bad that comes along with having an "extraordinary" kiddo. I think of all of you often and will continue to wish for your continued vigilance and for wonderful doctors and nurses for Ellie :)

I hope her first day went well. Her friends at EI talk about her often.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I can't believe how long her hair is, and what a big girl she is. I can, of course, believe how fantastic she is. Way to go.
