My sister had lots made if you want one.

This is the story of Eleanor Brogan who was born in April 2006. She was born missing 90% of her small bowel and 20% of her large bowel. This made her "Short Gut" or "short bowel", hence the name of the blog. Currently she is being treated by Children's Hospital Boston. She was the 23rd child to go on the new lipid for TPN, called Omegaven. Which has saved her liver, kept her off the transplant list and we believe saved her life.

That's too cute! I'll ixnay my non-pink wearing policy for that! Go Beth!
Aunt Kate had the bracelets made... I'm just a messenger. The pink flannel blanket is from Gramma (so is the gross of Hershey Kisses), and this is the pinkest crib I've ever seen. My only contribution was Us Weekly... but I got to hold our girl. She cooed and smiled for me. I'm in love.
I'm Ellie's Gramma- If you want a Team Ellie bracelet, email me and I'll send it/them.

I was in the shower at the Y. Some of the old guys, just think how old for me to call them old guys, were giving me the hairy eyeball as they gazed at my pink (it's really pink, huh?) bracelet. At first I thought about what I'd say. Young Jack from Germantown might have said, "So, what's it to ya'?" Instead I told all three the story of Ellie and asked if they'd like braceltes as well. They all thought they'd have to think about that.
Team Ellie. Keep on keepin' on.
I love the bracelets--I'll definitely be emailing Martha for one! Abby, you've gotten me hooked on pink just in time! Sorry I missed you guys this weekend but I'll see you soon...
I feel so bad poor Ellie. God bless her in all that she do and I hope that everyone buys a "Team Ellie bracelet!
